Family Traditions

I inherited this platter that mom served turkey on during the holidays. Everyone was invited as she showed us to love everyone unconditionally. The house was not very big ;yet, we somehow all squeezed around tables and some spilled out into the living room in a happy peaceful fashion. We always prayed together and blessed the food that God had provided too! We laid her to rest this year (the last of a generation of 12 children), we feel the peace of God comfort us with His promise that she chose to live a life of faith & love and teach all of her children to do the same. ✝️

Proverbs 13:22 says that a good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children. God designed us to live a purposeful life and leave a legacy. This isn't about our recognition or fame. Instead, it's about serving the next generation and giving glory to God.
