Diabetic Dog Complications

I took Duke to the vet today, because one of his fangs is infected. He does not have a fever and got oral antibiotics. They will have to get labs when he goes in for vaccines next month. Then they can determine if he is healthy enough to be sedated for a thorough dental exam, cleaning, and possible extractions. He has lived with diabetes for 3 years and is more prone to bacterial infections.
